In his first season in the role, the former Wales 7s head coach was mightily impressed with the North Wales welcome when Zipworld Stadium hosted games against England and Ireland in last season’s campaign.

“The atmosphere against England and Ireland was superb, so we can’t wait to get back there,” he said.

Wales play their first home match against Italy in the opening round of matches with France and Scotland following in the third and fifth rounds respectively.
