Ryan Woodman
The Dragons utility forward made his Wales U20 debut as a 17-year-old against Scotland in Parc Eirias in the second round of the 2022 U20 Six Nations.
The Caldicot product signed his first Dragons Academy contract in June 2021 alongside fellow Wales U20 representatives Oli Andrew and Joe Westwood. He played in the second row in his first campaign but transitioned to his favoured back row position for the U20 Summer Series in 2022 where Wales reached the final against South Africa.
An injury to Benji Williams’ meant Woodman confirmed his virsatility when he played No 8 in the decisive win over Italy that booked the youngster his first shot at silverware in the final against South Africa in Treviso.
He is the captain of Wales u20s and played for Newport in the Indigo Prem during the past season.
