Participation Survey terms and conditions
The Welsh Rugby Union Limited (registered company no. 03419514) of Principality Stadium, Westgate Street, Cardiff CF10 5AU (“Promoter”) is the promoter of this free competition. Subject to these Terms and Conditions, all persons who elect to enter the competition via the survey (the “Survey”) before the stipulated closing deadline will be entered into a free competition as set out on the Survey (the “Competition”) to win two (2) tickets for a future match involving the Welsh Men’s Senior Team at Principality Stadium (the date such match as shall be determined by the Promoter at its sole discretion) (the “Prize”).
1. This Competition is open to anyone aged at least 18 years who is UK resident, excluding employees of the Promoter or any of its affiliated companies, their families, agents or anyone else connected with this Competition. The Promoter reserves the right to verify the eligibility of entrants.
2. Entries must be made by completing the Survey and providing an email address, which will only be used for the purposes of contacting the eventual winner(s) of the Competition (“Winner(s)”). Entries received after the stipulated closing time will be invalid and will not be included in the Competition.
3. Any instructions provided in the Survey forms part of the Terms and Conditions of the Competition, but in the event of a conflict, these Terms and Conditions take precedence. Entries not complying with these Terms and Conditions will be invalid.
4. No payment is required to enter the Competition.
5. The Winner(s) will be selected at random from all eligible entries received before 23:59hrs (UK time) on 7th May 2021 (or earlier, at the discretion of the Promoter). The Winner(s) will be notified on 14th May, firstly by telephone and then by email. In the event that the winner fails to respond to the Promoter to confirm its acceptance of the Prize within a reasonable period of time, the Promoter reserves the right (in its sole discretion) to forfeit the Prize or select an alternative Winner from the Competition.
6. The Promoter reserves the right to request valid proof of identification (as determined in its sole discretion) from the Winner(s) prior to collection of the Prize. The Promoter will not be responsible for any inability of a Winner to take up the specified Prize.
7. The match for which the Prize will be granted shall be determined by the Promoter at its sole discretion.
8. The Winner(s) shall be responsible for the conduct of itself and/or those person(s) invited by the Winner(s) as their guest to use the Prize for the relevant match and who possess a valid ticket for the same.
9. The Promoter reserves the right to provide substitute prize(s) of similar value in the event that the specified Prize is unavailable for reasons beyond its control. Cash or credit alternatives will not be offered in any circumstances and the Prize is not transferable for any alternative benefit.
10. The Promoter assumes no responsibility and is not liable for any costs, charges or expenses which Winner(s) may be required to pay at any time in connection with a Prize, including but not limited to (i) travel and accommodation expenses and/or (ii) any costs, charges or expenses incurred as a result of the Promoter changing, postponing, cancelling or amending the relevant match and/or participation at the relevant match, or for material changes to the relevant match.
11. The Winner(s) may be required to participate in publicity connected communications with the Competition and in entering the Competition, entrants agree to their name being made publicly available if they win.
12. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for lost or delayed entries, or lost or delayed notices, acceptances, tickets or other documents related to the Prize.
13. The decision of the Promoter is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
14. The Promoter reserves the right to suspend, cancel or amend the Competition and/or review and revise these Terms and Conditions at any time without giving prior notice. In addition, the Promoter reserves the right to end the competition and choose a winner prior to the stipulated closing time. By continuing to take part in the Competition subsequent to any revision of these Terms and Conditions, entrants shall be deemed to have agreed to any such new or amended terms.
15. As a Winner, you will release the Promoter and its affiliates, partners and employees from any and all liability, claims, demands, and causes of action for personal injury and or damage, theft, or loss suffered in connection with the Competition or the use or acceptance of the Prize or any portion thereof save where due to the negligence of the Promoter or its affiliates, partners and employees.
16. The Winner(s) must comply with:
a. all applicable laws, regulations, rules codes of practice, guidelines, directions, and decrees imposed by law or any competent authority in relation to Principality Stadium (“Stadium Legislation”);
b. Principality Stadium’s ground regulations as may be in force and as may be amended from time to time (“Ground Regulations”);
c. the WRU Ticketing Terms and Conditions and the relevant ticket terms and conditions and/or terms of admission for match held at Principality Stadium from time to time (“Ticket Terms and Conditions”), and
d. any other rules and/or regulations or instructions issued by the Promoter, Millennium Stadium plc and/or any other relevant regulatory body from time to time
17. The Promoter shall be entitled to refuse entry to the Winner(s) if that person has (i) previously been ejected from and/or banned from attending Principality Stadium and/or (ii) previously failed to comply with the Stadium Legislation, the Ground Regulations, the Ticket Terms and Conditions and/or any other rules, regulations or instructions of the Promoter in respect of an event at Principality Stadium or where the Promoter has reasonable grounds for believing the Winner(s) is in breach of any of the same.
18. If any provision of these Terms and Conditions is held to be invalid by a court of law or similar, such invalidity shall not affect the enforceability of any other provisions not held to be invalid.
19. This Competition is governed by the law of England and is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
20. Multiple entries to the competition the Competition made by the same entrant shall be ineligible.
