Rio Dyer
Named in the Wales U20 squad for the 2019 Six Nations, the Dragons speedster missed the entire championship due to his commitments on the World Series, where his pace was an asset for Wales on the wing.
In summer 2018, he was in the starting line-up for his country at the World Rugby U20 Championship in Perpignan as Wales beat Australia in their tournament opener.
He made his debut for the Dragons in January 2018 against Saracens in the Anglo-Welsh Cup and his Guinness PRO14 debut less than a month later against Edinburgh Rugby.
Dyer is an example of the value of the sevens programme for young players transitioning to Guinness Pro14 rugby, having gone from rugby union to sevens – and vice versa – with aplomb.
