The Wales senior men’s squad have been following a special heat acclimation programme as part of their preparations for the two-Test series in Japan this July.
Under the guidance of national squad head of physical performance Huw Bennett and his team, the players have been training in a special heat and humidity chamber and following that with skills sessions under fatigue.
Watch as players undertake their final session like this before they travel to Japan on Wednesday.
Bennett said: “So we’re just about to go in the heat chamber for the last time before boys go out to Japan on Wednesday.
“It’s 30 to 35 degrees [Celsius] and 85 percent humidity.
“We try to replicate conditions they will have in Japan.
“When they have finished the 40minute session in there, they come out and do a skills session under fatigue.
“It’s about being as prepped as we can.”
