Head coach Liza Burgess has named the Wales Women U23s squad for a training game against the Army at Ystrad Mynach, on Saturday, April 26th (KO:2:30pm).
Welsh internationals Gwennan Hopkins, Meg Davies, Mollie Wilkinson and Amelia Tutt have been named in the starting line-up for a warm up game ahead of the WU20s Six Nations tournament in the summer.
Gwalia Lightning Number 8 Hopkins, Brython Thunder fly half Wilkinson and Leicester Tigers wing Tutt are part of a Wales U23s side with the bulk of players who played in this season’s Celtic Challenge.
Hopkins and Molly Anderson-Thomas are the co-captains for the game against a senior Army side with free entry for supporters to the training base for what promises to be a key development fixture on Welsh soil.
