At stake this week is a potential home European semi-final for his side if they can beat the Dragons.
The Bears did manage to score five tries themselves to leave with a losing bonus point.
Lam was unhappy with the result, but not so much with the performance.
“Unfortunately that scoreboard is more a reflection of our errors than the quality of Wasps because we allowed them to play. We blew four or five tries. One pass here or there and we could have scored more tries,” said Lam.
